The Wisconsin Vein Center in Manitowoc has introduced its’ new state-of-the-art services in Body Sculpting, skin tightening and muscle toning.

It’s called EVOLVE, according to Dr. Kimberly Ridl, Physician and Owner at their clinic, located at 940 Maritime Drive.

Following a Ribbon-Cutting and Open House late Thursday afternoon, Dr. Ridl explained it’s a fat-reducing machine which works with radio frequency, or heat.

She described the process as “little paddles about the size of an iPhone [applying] heat on the specific area that you identify to have reduced.”

The paddles heat to 106-degrees, cooler than a heating pad, so there’s no pain or discomfort, resulting in a very pleasant experience for the patient.

“In addition to the fat reduction, unlike cool sculpting which eliminates the fat, but you still are left with loose or saggy skin, the EVOLVE unit actually has skin tightening incorporated within the treatment,” she explained. “So, basically it’s like shrink-wrapping your skin around your new beautiful form.”

Dr. Ridl came to Manitowoc in 2014 following the retirement of Dr. Terry Gueldner added, “Everyone I know, male or female, always has that one little stubborn area on the body that despite exercise and diet is just non-responsive.”

Her clinic is one of only three in eastern Wisconsin that offers this EVOLVE unit, joining one in Green Bay and another in Sheboygan.
