How many people play GTA Online? 2022 player count stats - Charlie INTEL

It’s no secret that GTA Online is one of the most popular multiplayer games out there, but how many people are playing it in 2022?

Although it’s been around since 2013, Grand Theft Auto 5 Online has been kept alive through a constant stream of updates, including the next-gen remaster. But just how many people are loading into GTA Online’s Los Santos?

Grand Theft Auto 5 has been a money-making machine for Take-Two and Rockstar Games, selling over 140 million copies. And this doesn’t take into account the new next-gen editions, nor all of the in-game microtransactions.

Although being around for almost nine years, the online component continues to get more popular thanks to an active roleplaying community and regular updates and expansions.

But just how many people are playing GTA Online in 2022? Here’s everything you need to know about GTA Online’s daily and monthly player count.

The only platform for which we can see accurate GTA Online player count stats is Steam, where over 90,000 players log in every day, with the peak hitting around 150,000. This means Steam sees roughly 2.5 million GTA Online players every month.

However, Steam only makes up a fraction of GTA Online’s player base. The game is also available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and the Epic Games Store.

Epic Games revealed that Grand Theft Auto 5 was one of their most popular titles in both 2020 and 2021, so we can imagine the player count is similar to Steam.

It’s impossible to predict how many GTA Online players there are across consoles, but the next-gen release and all its new content has likely brought in hundreds of thousands of new and returning players. Especially with the game being free on PlayStation for the next few months.

Of course, some of these players will be playing the campaign, but with Michael, Franklin, and Trevor’s story being around for almost nine years, it’s safe to assume the vast majority of players will be playing GTA Online.

According to Steam Charts, GTA Online hit an all-time peak player count of 360,761 all the way back in April 2015 — when the game first arrived on PC.

The next highest peak player count was 267,000 in February 2020, with December 2020’s Cayo Perico update almost beating it with 258,000.

It’s safe to say that GTA Online absolutely isn’t ‘dead,’ with the game having a healthy player base across Steam and Epic Games, and the next-gen edition likely bringing in hundreds of thousands more.

After rumours and speculation, it seems Apex Legends will be getting a new BR map in the future according to leaked gameplay footage.

Thanks to the recent Apex Legends leaks, fans were given an early look at a future battle royale map that Respawn are working on, getting players excited for the future.

The Apex Legends community have really been spoilt over the past week as a crazy amount of future content was leaked. Fans got to see the unreleased Legends that Respawn are working on and even Crypto and Valkyrie’s Heirlooms.

As well as all this, players were also given a sneak peek at the new Battle Royale map the devs are working on, which according to the leak is supposedly called “Divided Moon.”

Unfortunately for Respawn Entertainment, a huge ammount of future Apex Legends content for distant seasons was leaked.

One of the most interesting pieces of unreleased content that was leaked during the whole spill was gameplay footage of the next Battle Royale map.

Despite getting a new map in Season 11 through Storm Point, it seems the devs are hard at work designing the next battle ground for players.

Reddit user Legitimate_Chapter82 reposted the original leak, which has since been taken down, showing off early gameplay of an unfinished Battle Royale map.

The maps name is Divided Moon in the video, however, this doesn’t mean that it will have this name on release. Remember, with any leak, it is not an official source, and it’s therefore likely that things will change before it is launched.

This is obviously the case considering the footage shows off an unfinished map with POIs that are yet to have textures. As well as first person gameplay, we also got a look at the map, which presented all of the POI’s on the ma[p, as well as its layout.

The map seems like it could be a pretty big one, with the general theme based around space as the sky box shows a beautiful blend of stars, planets, and space debris.

Some of the POIs named are as follows:

It’s pretty crazy that this was leaked and hopefully it doesn’t effect the devs too much and make them feel as if their hard work was undone.

One thing fans must understand is that this was not intended for the public, so take the leaks with a grain of salt as none of it is the finished product

EA have announced another FIFA 22 Team of the Week. We’ve got everything you need to know, as well as the full FIFA 22 TOTW 27 lineup.

It’s time for another FIFA 22 Team of the Week. In FIFA 22 TOTW 27, there are some huge names for people to add to their teams and we’ve got all the details listed for you.

Ultimate Team remains the most popular mode in the FIFA series. One of the many reasons for this is incorporating real-world football into its addictive gameplay loop through special cards, such as Icons or the new Fantasy FUT.

One of the mode’s oldest promotions is ‘Team of the Week’, which offers players a weekly batch of upgraded cards, based on real-life player performances the previous week, to help build out their squads.

We’ll be updating this hub with the latest FIFA 22 TOTW news, so be sure to check back here every week.

Here are the full updates for FIFA 22’s Team of the Week 27.

The FIFA 22 TOTW 27 is here and the star power is shining this week with several title races on the line before the International break. For those who like to try out new cards and have the funds to do so, FIFA’s TOTW is great.

Team of the Week items are special cards that boost stats based on that player’s performance in the previous week of real-world games. Any player awarded an in-form will see both their ratings and in-game stats get a permanent increase.

Every week, EA unveils a 23-man squad of the stars who had the best games in the previous domestic or international fixtures round. They could be awarded for a last-minute winner in a big game or a heroic performance from a goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet.

Each TOTW is available in packs for an entire week until it is replaced by the next squad on the following Wednesday. Players can’t receive an in-form two weeks in a row.

While an in-form card is in packs, it replaces the base version of that player. The normal card will return to packs when that TOTW is over.

In FIFA 22, EA has addressed fans’ complaints that TOTW items are often quickly rendered useless by the other promotional cards added to the game throughout the year.

Every week, one player will receive a special Featured TOTW card. These players will receive a larger boost than the rest of the squad in an attempt to make them more desirable to those building their teams.

To qualify for this additional stat-boost, the player must have a base card that is under 80-rated and not have any other performance-based card in packs – such as a Ones to Watch.

Historically, EA announces the latest TOTW every Wednesday so that any Monday night games can be considered.

Each new team is normally Tweeted out around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT with a full look at every upgrade.
